I have never used such a bad company in my life. I purchased a property in 2021. Whilst I was waiting for planning permission to knock it down and build a new house, it got occupied by squatters. When I managed to get them out I demolished the house in May 2022. The electric meter was also removed which I have photos proving this. So no house no electric no metre. Unbeknown to me, I kept getting charged for electrics with my previous direct debit. When I questioned this they advised me to close the account which I did. However now I have finished my house. I am trying to get my permanent supply connected again but I unable to as Endesa are now saying, there are bills from 2023 that still remain unpaid. The address on these invoices does not match my address. It’s similar but not mine.. I have proved the house was demolished in May 2022 with no electrics on site at all yet they won’t give me another contract until I pay another €1300 of bills that are clearly for another house. In the uk a unique metre number show on the actual metre is also noted on the invoice so there is no doubt that you bill is for your metre. Here there seems to be no such thing. I now have to pay for someone’s else’s electric that is somehow in my name bringing the total paid for someone else’s electric to over €4,000 before Endesa will set up a new account for my new house. Now you tell me is this a company you want to use??? I’ve been arguing this for two and a half years and still no resolution and no refund, but plenty of red tape to try and get electrics to my new house. As soon as I get connected I will be changing to another company and try never to use Endesa again.

Recently have been to Endesa office in Estepona. I found it ok, the person who dealt with me was helpful. (The only thing I'm not happy with is, the bills, very expensive for a small apartment. As no air conditioning or no oven. ) I hope they will adjust the prices.
